About me

I'm Pinja Tuominen, a corporate photographer and the founder of Pinja's Photography. I help companies build imagery that supports their goals, makes their expertise visible and speaks to the right clients.

My background is firmly rooted in sales, sales development and marketing. I understand how people form impressions, what builds trust and what influences purchasing decisions. This commercial perspective shapes how I plan photography: I take the time to understand your business, your target audiences and where the images will be used. Each image collection is built around your communication and business needs.

Whenever it serves the project's goals, I favour featuring a company's own employees in its marketing imagery. The people behind the business bring its expertise, culture and ways of working to life, making its communications more recognisable and personal.

No experience in front of the camera is needed. I have developed an approach where I set the scene and give people a clear activity, idea or short story to engage with. I guide them step by step, so nobody needs to arrive knowing how to pose or behave for the camera. This creates natural imagery while making the experience clear and comfortable for everyone involved.

I work fluently in Finnish and English and carry out corporate photography across Europe. I am accustomed to working with a wide range of people, teams and international organisations. Thoughtful preparation, clear communication and arrangements that fit the working day make the process smooth for both the person coordinating the project and those being photographed.
